Oats, Monida
Description
Monida Spring Oats
Monida Oats are a spring planted variety of forage oats. Monida Oats will produce more forage than Jerry Oats, and are a great option for hay operations. Monida Oats are a medium-height, high yielding variety with plump, short, and white kernels. This fast-growing crop is commonly used for forage, erosion control and temporary land protection, preventing unwanted weeds while improving the soil quality of your land. As an annual crop, oats are an excellent cover crop as they die out during early summer, eliminating unwanted growth in the next season's crop when mowed back or worked into the soil.
