Arizona Cottontop
Description
Arizona Cottontop is often found in the Southwest, from Colorado to Texas and Arizona to Mexico. Livestock find it highly palatable, and it is often used in land reclamation mixtures.
Arizona Cottontop is a warm-season, perennial, and very rarely found in pure stands. However, it makes a beautiful addition to any Native landscape because of its white, cotton-like seed head.
