Milargo Kentucky Bluegrass was developed to improve this variety's tolerance to drought and regional conditions. Milagro's rapid establishment, rich green color, and low maintenance make this seed blend desirable to homeowners. Kentucky bluegrass does well in soils from sandy loam to heavy clay. Seeding rates of 2 to 3 pounds per 1,000 sq. ft. or 125 pounds per acre will help establish a deep healthy turf. Complete germination takes place in about 3 weeks and is ready for traffic and lawn care after 6 weeks.
