Buffalograss, Cody
Description
Buffalograss are native grass seeds known for low water usage, winter hardiness, and low vertical growth habit. Cody Buffalograss offers many of these qualities and more. This certified warm-season turf grass offers faster establishment, higher density, dark color, and a fine texture.
Cody's unique development allows it to excel over a wide range of climates and locations, such as lawns, golf courses, acreages, and parks. Buffalograss grows best in areas that have 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day and allows good soil drainage. Cody is adapted to a wide range of soil types. However, it is not suited to sandy soils. Longevity of stand and drought tolerance make Buffalograss a long-term solution for low-maintenance areas. All of our Buffalograss has been 'primed' to ensure faster and more uniform germination and establishment. This process breaks the natural dormancy of the seed and ensures that the seed starts growing more quickly when planted.
