Description
Our Alamo Switchgrass is blue-green in color, usually slightly waxy and tall, with long stems and wide leaves. Sourced from a collection originally found in a native Switchgrass stand along the Frio River in South Texas. Alamo Switchgrass is a selection released in 1978 by the USDA Soil Conservation Service in Texas in cooperation with the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station.
