Description
Streambank Wheatgrass is a perennial, sod-forming grass with excellent seedling vigor and drought tolerance. It is a long-lived, cool-season native grass with an extensive rhizomatous root system and is well adapted to most soils. This grass produces moderately short stems and seed heads and grows from 1 to 3 feet tall. Streambank wheatgrass is palatable to all classes of livestock and wildlife but is not recommended for forage production.
