Description
Smooth Bromegrass is a leafy, sod-forming, perennial grass that spreads by rhizomes. This cool-season grass is an excellent option for erosion control or to produce hay, pasture, or silage for livestock. The stems vary in height from 2 to 4 feet and stem leaves that range from 4 to 10 inches. Smooth brome is best adapted to cooler climates and is resistant to drought and extremes in temperature.
