Description
This special Western Wildflower Seed Mix is inspired by the 'Llano Estacado', which is a large flat plain in the Southern High Great Plains and is around 37,500 square miles in size. Coronado traversed the Llano and described it like this: "I reached some plains so vast, that I did not find their end for more than 300 leagues...with no more land marks than if we had been swallowed up by the sea...there was not a stone, nor a bit of rising ground, nor a tree, nor a shrub, nor anything to go by." What Coronado saw is the beauty of the Western Wildflower Mix found on the Llano: Globemallow, Purple Aster, Plains Coreopsis, Prairie Clover, Penstemon, Blue Flax, Primrose, Mexican Hat, and Blanketflower, are the components of this diverse mix. This beautiful Llano Estacado Wildflower Mix comes from a deceivingly harsh environment and will enhance just about any low moisture area with a spray of color.
